I used to sit with my mom and watch my the kids older than me, and my friends bring their "boyfriends" or "girlfriends" to church.. and it became almost a game to see which one they ended up marrying. It became apparent that there is almost always "the look". The madly-in-love, I can't wait to spend forever with you look. The look of.. we've spent so much time together that our personalities and actions are already becoming one.
When I first met Tyler and Samara it was on one of the coldest days in December for the wedding of Tyler's sister. I remember when we were doing the Family Portraits... I couldn't tell if they were already married or as my family calls them "a wild card". At the luncheon I sat next to them and got to know them. It was quick and easy to tell that these two were meant for each other and would be getting married soon!
I was THRILLED when they asked me to be their photographer- and let me tell you, they are moonlight models. I'm sure of it. Their session was perfect, Samara's dress.. The spring wedding color palette of her bouquet, the spring flowers of May, the weather, all with the beautiful backdrop of Snow basin Resort in Northern Utah.
I always have favorite things to photograph, and Samara nailed it all! Her floor length veil that would run with the wind (quite literally.. like run away) and the lace on her dress. Let's not forget to notice her collar, it's so unique! That might be my favorite thing about her dress! Anyway- I love them! I can't wait for their wedding in a week!
